Zodiac Card Readings

Card Reading is a mystical ancient practice with spiritual wholeness being the organic goal.

The zodiac card readings work on finding personal wholeness bringing clarity that our environment, our land and the whole planet are intimately associated with our own harmony.

The earth on which we walk is both our mother and teacher, assuming different faces depending on our inner conditions. The powerful imagery of Zodiac cards were created by a 19th century Dutch artist Johfra Bosschart. In 1973 Johfra was commissioned to do the twelve Zodiac pictures. Having studied for years at a modern Mystery School, the Lectorium Rosicrucianum, Johfra applied his understanding of ancient traditions to this now world-famous series of paintings so that they became more than mere zodiacal symbolism. Incorporating images, ideas and symbols from the Tarot, the Kabbalah, alchemy, gnosticism, Hermeticism of Hermes and Rosicrucianism, the paintings can be experienced as meditations and doorways to spiritual growth.

Johfra Bosschart described his own works as “Surrealism based on studies of psychology, religion, the Bible, astrology, antiquity, magic, witchcraft, mythology and occultism”. In 1975, the Zodiac Series is integral exhibited at Gallery Kamp (Amsterdam).

The readings are meant:

  • For those who wish to have clarity on their choices.
  • To develop a broader perspective on matters of concern.

I use the Zodiac cards to give professional readings to clients. As the name suggests these are a set of 12-cards based on 12-zodaic signs. Twelve cards are divided into four element sign cards. The client is requested to instinctively pull out cards from the deck and read them. Progressively, the client resonates with the cards and the deeper meaning is revealed to the client. Many times only one reading is sufficient for the client.

Cards tells the truth we dare not tell ourselves
